Optical shops in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United States use Asaan Optics. Each page says what the software offers a shop in that country, and what it does not do there.

Choose a country

The software is the same everywhere. What changes is the language you run it in, the currency and tax you set, and the local systems it does or does not connect to.

  • Pakistan

Urdu, with a right-to-left layout, or English, in both apps. It does not connect to FBR's invoicing system. If your shop is required to issue FBR-integrated invoices, ask us before you rely on it.

  • India

Hindi or English, in both apps. One tax rate is set for the shop. It does not keep a separate GST rate or HSN code for each item.

  • Bangladesh

English. The apps are not available in Bengali. There is no Bengali version of the apps. Customer names and remarks can be typed in any language.

  • Saudi Arabia

Arabic, with a right-to-left layout, or English, in both apps. It does not connect to ZATCA's Fatoora platform. The receipt carries a ZATCA-format QR code; ask your accountant which e-invoicing requirements apply to your shop.

  • Egypt

Arabic, with a right-to-left layout, or English, in both apps. It does not connect to the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoice or e-receipt systems.

  • The United States

English or Spanish, in both apps. No vision insurance: it does not check benefits or file claims with plans such as VSP or EyeMed.

Other countries

Asaan Optics can be used in any country: the currency, the tax label and the tax rate are your own settings, and the apps are available in English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Urdu, Turkish and Hindi.
