This website is written by Techwine Solutions, the company that makes Asaan Optics. This page says how we decide what to publish, how we check it, and what we do when something is wrong.

  • The publisher

    Techwine Solutions, in Wah Cantt, Pakistan. Asaan Optics is its product. Company details are on the about page.

  • The author

    Pages are written by the Techwine Solutions team and published under the company's name. Farhad Nazir, the founder and developer of Asaan Optics, is responsible for what the site says about the software.

  • Our interest

    We sell the software this site describes. Pages about our own product are not independent, and they say so where it matters.

Pages about Asaan Optics

  • As it is today

    Product pages describe what the software does now, not what is planned. When the software changes, the pages are changed.

  • What it does not do

    Limits are stated next to features: for example that stock is managed on the desktop and not on the phone, or that the software does not connect to a tax authority's systems. See the country pages.

  • Screenshots

    Screenshots are of the real apps, with demo data. No customer's records are shown.

  • No superlatives

    We do not call our own product the best, the leading or number one, and we do not publish ratings, review counts or testimonials that we cannot source.

Comparisons with other products

  • Not a ranking

    Comparison pages do not rank or score products. See the comparisons.

  • Sources

    We have not installed or tested other makers' products. What we say about them is what each maker states on its own website, with the date we read it and a link to the page.

  • Gaps

    Where a maker's website does not state something, the page says it is not stated. We do not fill the gap from review sites or from memory.

  • What others do better

    Each comparison lists what the other product offers that Asaan Optics does not.

    Each calculator page shows the formula it uses and worked examples, so the result can be checked by hand. See the optical tools.

  • Not medical advice

    The calculators, the glossary and the guides are general optics for opticians, students and shop staff. They are not advice about anyone's eyes. See the medical and calculation disclaimer.

  • Tax and law

    Pages mention tax settings but do not give tax or legal advice. Rates and rules differ by country and change; ask your accountant.
