Welcome to Asaan Optics ("we," "our," or "us"), a software product developed by Techwine Solutions. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your business data.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our Mobile Application and Desktop Software, why we collect it, and how we safeguard it. By using Asaan Optics, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2.Information We Collect
Account Information
To create your account and verify your identity, we collect:
- Shop Owner Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Shop Name & Address
Shop Records
Data you input to manage your business operations:
- Customer Profiles & Prescriptions
- Sales & Transaction History
- Inventory/Stock Items
- Repairing Job Details
Device & Usage
Used for license activation and security:
- Device ID (a random identifier the app creates on each device)
- Operating System Version
- Login Timestamps
App Permissions
We may request access to:
- Internet: To sync data with the cloud.
- Storage: To save receipts/invoices as PDF images.
- External Apps: To open WhatsApp for customer communication.
- Camera: To photograph a written prescription for the prescription scanner and to scan a customer QR code. The text is read from the photo on your phone.
- Photos and media: To attach an image you choose and to save or share receipts.
- Fingerprint or face unlock: Optional sign-in with the phone's own biometric check. The app receives only a yes or no from the phone; your fingerprint or face data never leaves the device and is never sent to us.
- Notifications: To show reminders and alerts from the app.
Messages from us on WhatsApp
We may send messages to the phone number on your Asaan Optics account through the WhatsApp Business Platform, a service of Meta. These are messages about your account and the software: new versions and features, plan and renewal notices, and offers. To deliver them, your phone number and the message are processed by WhatsApp under its privacy policy.
You can stop these messages at any time: reply to any of them asking us to stop, or write to techwinesolutions@gmail.com. A reply to a question you sent us yourself may still be answered. We do not use the phone numbers of your shop's customers for our own messages.
3.How We Store & Protect Data
We use Google Firebase (a service by Google) as our backend infrastructure. Your data is stored in Cloud Firestore, which provides industry-standard security.
- Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL (HTTPS).
- Authentication: Secure login via Firebase Authentication prevents unauthorized access.
- Cloud storage: Records are saved to our servers, so they are not kept only on your device.
5.Data Retention Policy
We retain the business information and optical shop records we collect (including customer profiles, lens/frame prescriptions, sales transaction histories, and inventory logs) only for as long as your optical shop account remains active and registered with Asaan Optics.
Device and diagnostic information is kept only for as long as needed to provide and secure the service, then deleted or anonymised. We act on verified requests to delete an account: the shop’s records are then deleted from our live databases, except where we must keep them to meet financial, tax or other legal requirements.
6.Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated shop data at any time.
How to request deletion:
Send an email to techwinesolutions@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account". We act on verified deletion requests.
7.Children's Privacy
Our Services are business tools intended for professionals and do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
